Summary

We are looking for a Graphic Designer & Website Designer, who can create visually compelling designs and engaging websites that effectively communicates messages, enhances brand identities, and captures the attention of the target audience. The Graphic Designer job role and Website Design job profile required you to collaborate with stakeholders, and other members of the creative team to conceptualize, design, and edit graphics and websites across various mediums.

An ideal Graphic Design and Website Design candidate will be one with knowledge of the latest designs and software, experience with print and digital media, a team player, and an excellent communicator who would be able to take directions from written or spoken ideas and translate them into captivating designs that connect.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
• 2+ years proven work experience as a graphic designer and website design, or related field.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and website development projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and a variety of styles.
• Experience with HTML, Javascript, and CSS
• Proficiency in graphic design software Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or other relevant tools.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout composition, and Website editing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects that might include advertisements, logos, branding materials, social media graphics, website elements, presentations, etc.
• Utilize industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools to create and edit designs.
• Conduct research and gather inspiration from various sources to stay informed about design trends, industry best practices, and competitor analysis.
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic while receiving and incorporating feedback from team members to refine and improve designs.
• Edit and manipulate graphic elements to create visually engaging and cohesive websites for WordPress themes, and various content management systems.
• Understand the narrative and objectives of the website content and develop a UI/user interface through effective UX/user experience techniques.
• Edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality audio for website projects.
• Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design.
• Handle camera on some occasions and capture footage as and when required for the video content or photography.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Competitive analysis and making sure to create content according to the latest market trends.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks related to designing simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability and willingness to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed.
• Awareness of UI/UX principles.
• Social media and email marketing experience a plus.
